Every great thing starts and develops with small beginnings, even God himself began to build this world with a humble beginning. Yes you may not have a name or big family and even the level of great scholars yet I challenge you to begin to reflect on greatness. Start thinking and dreaming, let others laugh at you but I say you are great. Set up your own greatness goals and learn to stay in it. Don’t attempt to achieve greatness to impress others, otherwise you will doom your own aspirations. Here are five steps to get started:
- Celebrate your success; before you begin working towards your goals and more greatness in life, be sure to acknowledge all you’ve accomplished already
- Create your True Vision
- Take Action
- Stay Persistent
- Have the Right Support
Greatness is a concept of a state of mind of superiority affecting a Person or object in a particular place or area. Greatness can be attributed to an individual or individuals who possess a natural ability to be better than all others. Here are ten Qualities of Greatness inspired by His words
Purposefulness, * Self-confidence, * Boldness, * Optimism, * Forgiveness, * Courage, * Determination and * HUMILITY
Christ himself began his greatness from the womb of a humble woman with no name, born and covered with a swaddling cloth, he chose the manger as his guest room. Between the Star, Moon, and the Sun, he preferred the Star for his sign of brightness towards his greatness. Throughout Scripture we have several Great People like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Amos, Moses, Paul, the Apostles, Zechariah, and John the Baptist just to mention a few. None of these people, including Elizabeth and Mary, ever considered or thought themselves great yet so they are. From humble beginnings they achieved their greatness through strong faith in God as their support.
Once again I challenge you personally to start thinking and working towards the greatness God has planned for you. YES YOU CAN – DON’T GIVE UP.
